In the second paper for the class, I want us to take a look at the potential promises and perils of the Internet and the implications for communication law. You can focus your discussion around privacy, political communication, copyright/trademark law – or another topic – and using at least 3 cases develop a discussion with the pre-Internet understanding and the developments in case law currently relevant. You should also outline some current cases or situations and extend this understanding and the implications moving forward. I would like to see at least (5) sources, college level syntax and grammar and formatting appropriate to APA or MLA style work. I anticipate that this paper should be between 7-10 page for appropriate analysis and coverage of the material.
When submitting cases that are not in the companion case book, please be sure to either provide the link to the case where I can view it or preferably, provide a copy of the cases in .pdf format as an attachment.
