26 Jul Defamation and Privacy
In this paper for the class, I want you to analyze one of the cases relating to either defamation law or our right to privacy. Take a single case, provide a useful brief of the case and its implications on law moving forward. Your analysis should be 3-4 pages, use college level syntax and grammar, have a works cited list that has at least (3) sources—yes, you can include the Cases in Communication Law and Communication Law in America texts but need to include at least one other source. We also have access to Thomson Reuters Westlaw. Please include a copy of your case with your paper. It will not count towards the page requirements.
I will be grading this on five areas — Statement of the Facts, the analysis of the legal/Constitutional Questions, the discussion of the decision and rationale, and your discussion of the implications and finally on the overall syntax and structure. Be sure to have an introduction and conclusion. Please use appropriate parenthetical citation and a works cited and use college level syntax and grammar.
