You will be provided a randomly chosen peer’s Ethical Leadership Article Critique by Tuesday of the assignment week which you will evaluate, develop additional literature supporting or contesting the original article or critique, and write your peer review (critique) of the critique. Your paper should address whether you agree with the fellow student’s critique, provide your assessment of the quality of the critique, and present what additional critiques or expanded thoughts you may have. You should draw on in-course and extra-course materials to support your position and reference no less than 1 additional (not used in the original critique) source in addition to the course textbooks. All referenced material must be properly cited and listed on the references page. The peer review submission is to be an APA paper with the body of the paper 3-4 pages excluding the title page, abstract, and references pages.

Examination of ethical leadership

The BMAL 770 Research Paper assignment is an examination of ethical leadership
encompassing the range of complex issues, constructs, forces, and worldviews that influence the
contemporary leader. The purpose is for you to develop and present your unique concept of the

You will examine recent research in ethics with an eye toward developing critical consumer of information practices while being exposed to recent ethical theory work. Instructions

You should select an article on an aspect of leadership or organizational ethics from the Journal of Business Ethics that has been published within the last 5 years as the subject of your critique. An alternative, peer-reviewed article on ethics can be substituted with prior approval by the professor. Requests for exceptions should be submitted via email and include a copy of the article and a short paragraph (3-4 sentences) explaining why you would like to use the article.

The paper is to be a critical examination of the ethical dimensions discussed in the article, the research methods or reasoning used, the biases of the authors (claimed or unspoken), the key important findings, and any resulting questions.
